Dr. Matthias Clauss, Research Scientist

A research scientist with more than 60 peer-reviewed scholarly publications and more than 20 years of experience,  Dr. Clauss is the currently the Associate Research Professor of Cellular & Integrative Physiology, Microbiology and Immunology and of Internal Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where his research program is focused on endothelial cell activation and cytokine biology. Dr. Klaus holds a doctorate from Ruprechts-Karl-University in  Heidelberg, Germany and was a post-doctoral research fellow at the department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics of the Columbia University in New York, and later a Scientific assistant at the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurobiology in Martinsried, Germany. He has mentored several graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students and has supervised several PhD theses
